Acrylic on Canvas
La Sieste (above) by Denis Foyather, 1848, is one of the many sculptures
I drew while at the Louvre in Paris. The drawing above was then used for
the painting "Adrift."
To me it is essential to maintain my life drawing skills. My paintings are
done in a figurative abstract style, but each painting begins with studies
from a model.
My mind is very academic in the approach I have to drawing the figure.
My spirit and style of painting are transformed into a different mode of
expression on canvas.
